UK Members of Parliament (MPs) are claiming Ipods, plasma TV screens and other perks of the job on their expense accounts, The Sunday Times claimed.
Executive gadgets are being "waved through" on the say so of civil servants and in one case an unnamed MP even bought a fish tank out of the money, the paper claimed.
The newspaper also alleged that some "honourable members" re-mortgaged their houses to release cash and then used their expense money to cover morgage re-payments.
But the newspaper did not name names, if names there are to be named.
