Users who purchase Nero 9 will get an additional software package with three products included, as Nero announced today its Winter Special for 2008.
Users in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa who buy Nero 9 will additionally receive a software package valued at over €100 for free, Nero said. The software package includes TuneUp Utilities 2008, Steganos Safe 2008, and AudialsOne 3 SE.
Nero 9 is the latest version of the company's popular digital media suite. A variety of new features make it easier than ever before to edit and organize multimedia content. With the click of a mouse, users can create videos with template themes for intros and credits, background music, and transitions. Music fans can enjoy additional track information such as artist name, album title, and album cover art from Gracenote music services.
A new feature lets users watch live and time-shifted TV directly on their PC and schedule recordings to play back later. Automatic backups with e-mail notification ensure punctual data protection. Nero supports burning data to CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs.
TuneUp Utilities 2008 increases the performance of Windows PCs. System errors and common Windows problems are repaired and system defragmentation shortens the load time of Windows, programs, and games. TuneUp Utilities 2008 increases hard drive storage space by removing unwanted files throughout the entire system. As well, TuneUp Utilities 2008 lets users create a customized Windows interface.
Steganos Safe 2008 protects personal data from unwanted access. The suite lets users create data safes, each with up to 256 GB of storage space for laptops, PCs, and USB sticks.
